AN EXCERPT
For every sexually active sentient sack of flesh (person), there comes a time where you question whether or not you’re doing “it” right. The anxiety of feeling like you should naturally be the most sexually-educated partner because you've “done the deed” and exchanged fluids a couple of times.
However, the reality for a lot of us, is that our sexual CV is mostly (consensual) trial and error. With every time you root (read: that's an Australian synonym for sex) you gain experience, but not necessarily a skill that you can replicate again and again with high rates of success.
You likely copulate for enjoyment, or validation, but also with that, you probably hope to learn a few things, that you can rinse and repeat for the next time, or with the next person.
That’s a strategy that has definitely proven effective for some, but for others, relying on chance to increase their sexual credentials is … has a limited success rate.
Do you know what the other issue is? Too many people find it more difficult to talk about sex than to have sex, which is a huge problem.
Where does this fear and discomfort come from? Why are people scared to admit they want to try and learn to be a better partner? Why do most people feel insecure when they have to communicate their sexual needs?
